SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE
Now that we have reached the third interdisciplinary ENT meeting, it is clear that teamwork between multiple professionals in the medical field is beneficial for treating otolaryngological disorders.
In pursuing this professional path, every doctor, within their own area of specialization, can appreciate the validity of the results of this collaboration and be encouraged to continue in the same direction.
The program aims to address conditions that ENT professionals encounter daily in their clinics, but with the specific support of other professionals.
The first session will address conditions related to inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, both allergic and non-allergic, with a focus on precision diagnostics and the most appropriate treatment for specific symptoms.
An in-depth analysis will be presented on the use of monoclonal antibodies, both new and existing drugs, in an attempt to dispel doubts and, where possible, provide certainty in this controversial and constantly evolving field of science.
The second session will explore one of the topics most often raised by patients: tinnitus, whether or not it is related to hearing loss, and will address the various possible causes with therapeutic proposals, both surgical and medical, as well as new methods related to the integrated approach.
The final session will explore new therapeutic strategies for treating pharyngolaryngeal disorders. Here too, specialists from different medical fields will contribute their expertise with the aim of broadening the learners’ vision.
Multidisciplinary collaboration is confirmed as the path to excellence in everyday clinical practice, enabling the personalization of care geared towards precision medicine.
